Hello my name is Joe. I played this tune a lot back in the mid 1980s when i was just a kid living in Glasgow. in 1987 i got a birthday presint of a yamama small keybord which had a demo of ode to joy. in 1988 i went to a junior choir and sung the lyrics wiftha lot of others from primary school that was taught by a teacher named ann. i believe these words only exist in him singing but don't knoe who wrote it. the first line went come sing a song of joy which i think was written in 1910.
