I need to correct something I posted in this thread on 31 May 2018 (!!) - the chap who went up Penyghent with Vicar Shaw ( no relation!) and me was called Peter Jepson, not Peter Fentem (dunno where that came from!) - and, after more than half a century, I'm back in touch with him! He's just sent me a photo from that day - Vicar Shaw is in it with the limestone crags in the background but I'm not (some would say fortunately!)

Anyway, since that post I've joined a band that sings Dirty Old Town at every gig and they make me play a whole verse solo on the harmonica as the intro! We don't argue about the lyrics because bunches of old men are far too stubborn to do that kind of thing!
