So what? Well, Guthrie found out "so what" when lawyers for the Wabash Cannonball copyright holders came after him. He made a few changes to his tune to get them to back off. Does it "weaken" the song? I never wrote that it did, I never wrote anything to even hint that it did, I'm just here to provide some information that someone might find useful some day, that's all.
