I must confess that some 30 years back, when I saw an Ibanez George Benson guitar for sale locally, part of the attraction for buying it (which I did, and kept it for a while) was the thought that some magic residing in the guitar might improve my skills in the George B. direction. Didn't work, unfortunately...
