Other places where song and music took place i Ireland included Rambling houses and meetings where gossip storytelling songs and tunes took place in peoples houses song tunes AKA Scroacht [sic] songs tune and stories took place in Bothys In Scotland, The idea that traditional singers only sang in pubs is incorrect
