A prody that I knew when I first had my Alexa and Amazon that had the same tune as Old Gray Mare went like this. Old Abe Lincoln sat on the wilderness sat on the wilderness many long years ago it was sung by Earl Robinson with guest Tom Glaser and Pete Seeger as the Union boys in a recording of 1941 but for some folks who don't no it was a trick they did on his song the year of 1944 wich is also set to a well remembered song by Steven Foster
