I played a few gigs on weekends at the Village Corner (Avenue Rd and Pears), when I was in high school in the ‘60’s. I jammed on occasion with Doug Bush. Sometimes, after all our weekend gigs ended a 1:00 am, we’d convene in one of the coffee houses. One night, we had a special turnout at the Corner: Doug Bush, Ian (not Sylvia), Dave Wiffen, Josh White - and a rare occurrence: Himself, Gordon Lightfoot. That was some jam session, a lifetime memory.
