I know many of the horrible things that can happen. But we must never give up hope. What I think 2026 will be is the year that the rivers will start to flow again. Garbage will be removed, human power will do most of it along with great inventions. It is happening and I am seeing so much on youtube lately..must have hit an algorithm. I have seen the most amazing videos from Pakistan, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, India. From the human side alone, there are men (seems to be mostly men) and women side by side, sometimes in waste up to their necks, not properly outfitted with PPE, using small garbage bags -- and they are cleaning out rivers, canals, ditches and allowing stagnant water to flow again.

I think it is an allegory for something..but it is also very inspirational (and hopefully they get the proper PPE etc.)
