Talking of private recordings, Tony Rees, did you write and sing "Talking To Your Dog Isn't Silly" for the Australian Broadcasting Commission's (ABC) 1978 edition of 'Let's Sing'? A radio programme with an accompanying book that was distributed to primary schools across Australia? I ask because, if you are, I managed to get in touch with you in 2019. My poor dog was on her last legs and I was desperate to hear the song again. I asked you where I might find it. Unfortunately you couldn't find the original recording so you recorded a new one for me! I still have that recording (I love it! & your gesture was one of the nicest I have ever received!) but not our email exchange. I just wanted to thank you again! Plus, I searched the song via the National Australian Archives without any luck.
Anyway, all the very best, and if you're not who I think you are, what you have written in this thread resonates with me, owing to the event I explained above. Kind regards.
