Kevin, you are a God!!! Thanks for the liner notes -- did you sit down and type those out?? As an accompaniment, I noticed someone is selling a postcard from the Bahamas with a nice picture of that Blind Blake (as opposed to the other, American one, who is also great of course!), if anyone wants to see that. I have it saved, for that matter. Interesting stuff... Anyway, Kevin, I would be forever in your debt if you could make me a tape or cd of that record. I've just been getting into calypso and have an Arhoolie compilation on cd, plus a couple of great Rounder discs, but it's tough to find much! Of course, I also have all those Belafonte records (if that's really considered calypso) that my mom had when I was growing up! But Kevin, how do I contact you via email? I have lots of stuff I could send you in return, maybe, just not much calypso! Any reccomendations of good calypso would also be wonderful -- I have a friend who's getting really into it too!
