I can't give you verse and chapter, but I know it's from early on in "As You Like It". It comes just before Jacques fatuous "seven ages of man" speech, with it's bullshit psuedo philosophy. The Duke says something like, "Thou seest we are not all alone unhappy This wild and universal theatre brings forth more woeful pageants Than the scene wherein we play in" Please correct me - some real Shakespearean scholar. | |||
