Hi, Lena, how are you? There was a Broadway version of Spoon River in the 1960s which had songs by Naomi Hirshorn. I'm assuming the songs were indeed the texts of Masters' poems set to music, but I've never heard them. Margaret P.S. Lena, did you see the recent thread re: Italian-Australian folk music? I was wondering if you might be of help to the person with the inquiry.
