If you are manipulating sound files get hold of SoundForge Its the best of the few I tried use it a bit like a word processor for sound and you can remove clicks, hush intakes of breath, mix new voices like choruses, add reverb. One nice touch I found invaluable was to slow the pace of a song by 20% without altering the pitch. If over ambitious it causes echo but this was magic. You do have a CD burner don't you? those WAV files are going to be 650+ Mbyte in total Oh, it is wise to keep the original WAV's in case you realise the PC speakers don't reveal all the ills (injected or on the original).
