Ok, I took the bait and went to the fair that started this thread on Sunday. My guess would be that the biggest problem is that it is so darned hard to find!! We had a map, and couldn't find it. We asked a local police officer, and at a gas station, and at a restaurant. Just as we were about to give up, we stumbled upon a very small sign. Once we got there, we enjoyed ourselves and spent more money than we should have. The crowd was small, the vendors friendly and no flies or stink. Sitting at the "shady stage" looking out across the fence at an undulating grassland one could almost imagine being far away and maybe even long ago. If you are in the neighborhood, it is a worthwhile way to spend an afternoon.
