Does 'Ora wa' really mean 'I'? From my rusty O-level Japanese I seem to recall that the first person singular is either 'Watashi wa' or 'Boku wa' (the latter is only used by male sex for some reason) Perhaps 'Ora wa' is slang?? Here in Dover we don't tend to use Japanese much so perhaps I've missed something......
