Hi, My names Mo, and I like accordions. (Supportive applause from group). I first realised it when I was in my early teens. Y'know, all my friends were into punk and that, and I tried to go along, but in secret I was going to Fiddler's Rallies, Ceilidhs, Highland games - anywhere I could get a fix. I started listening to it on the radio, I was hooked. In music shops I would be standing next to the cool guitars and saxes but all the time my eyes would be sliding over to those shiny little buttons, the metal grille, and oh, that fabulous bit in the middle... Ahem. Anyway, I now know this isn't socially acceptable, my friends don't want to be seen with me, my family is ashamed - I think I need help. Mind you, I'm not really THAT addicted, I can give it up anytime I want, and it's not like I learned to play the accordion.... well.... not really. Anyway, thanks, I'm glad I'm here. (Sits down to more supportive applause)
