i performed with my mom and dad when i was 12 years old as THE HEMRICK FAMILY SINGERS!i played the $12.00guitar i got for christmas,and we sang the old CHUCK WAGON GANG,gospel songs...we did this until i grew up ,got married and left home....then for about 32 years my guitar stayed in a closet somewhere....one day in MAY of 1992,i got out my guitar,began playing and singing the old carter family song,"bury me 'neath the willow",and then my wife started singing with me,then my daughter came over and joined in with us...and the rest is history...A REVIVAL OF THE HEMRICK FAMILY SINGERS ,WAS BORN!...my son now plays and sings with us too! you can get one of our cd's(18 old-time/bluegrass songs) $12.00,plus $3.00 s&h total=$15.00 HEMRICK FAMILY SINGERS...390 college street...rural hall,n.c. 27045...... regards.. chuck hemrick...aka TAR_HEEL
