I have been following this thread with interest, hoping that it would turn up another "Northern Lights" Back in the fifties we used to do a square dance of that name. The tune was the one that Oscar Brand used for "You're a Liar". A Fragment of the dance.... Into the igloo by the door you clap your hands you clap all four clap, clap, clap, clap and look at the Northern Lights. It was a singing call so I always assumed that there was a song out there somewhere but have never heard it. Anyone got any info? Bert.
