Thanks Bob. Interesting ..... I must get a canary! You mentioned Paul Downes and Phil Beer earlier on, was this around Exmouth/Exeter in Devon by any chance? I used to run the Exmouth Folk Club when it was at the Heavitree Inn, after the spell at the Deer Leap on the sea front. Remember Colin Wilson?? I was the base player on "Cloudburst".
