The Ethan Allen Homestead Festival (near Burlington) on Saturday, July 14th features Vermont musicians and singers. Represented will be contra dance bands, Irish music, bluegrass, Franco-American music, Abenaki stories and music plus individual singers such as Margaret MacArthur, Helen Schneyer, me, etc.. It's all on one day from about ten AM to five or six. Music happens under tents and in the main building. Also crafts and instruments for sale. Bring a picnic since there are no food concessions. This year's lineup and directions may be gotten by phoning the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum or maybe a Mudcatter out there can fill in the particulars. A fine little festival not to miss.
