The New York Pinewoods Folk Music Club also has Sea Music Concerts with NY Packet and guest performers every Tuesday in June and July from 6-8 pm at South Street Seaport. On June 5, the Johnson Girls will be performing at the Whitman Gallery at 211 Water Street. After that date the concerts will be on board the ship Peking. Admission is only $3. Other concerts are: June 12 Wharf Rats; June 19 Bonnie & Dan Milner; June 26 Spindrift; July 10 Mark Maniak; July 17 Fulton Ferry Amblers; July 24 Jerry Epstein; July 31 Anne Price. It's great to hear sea music in an authentic historical setting, and the music is fabulous, with alot of audience participation on shanties and choruses. South Street Seaport has a beautiful view of the water and the NY skyline, and great shopping and food too.
