You "all" hit the nail on the head. The song says to Mary (and all of us) that our GOD will liberate us from our oppressors, just as he did for Moses and his people. It seems to say "Don't wory I am for all ages." It's interesting how we can't become good performers if we don't believe in ourselves, and God can't liberate us if we refuse to believe in Jesus.
