Ironically, Tom Petty was trying to cut out Ticket master a little bit by selling tickets to his concerts directly through his web site. I'm hoping other artist catch on, its a great idea. Tom found that he had a much much much larger responsew than expected and did not reserve nearly enough tickets for direct sales.
