I still remember Capt Dorsey going to the obsevertory to see if the ship was on the way in.Back in those days ,we on the tug and even the office ,did not have ship to ship radio. Come to think of it I remember that on occasion one of the pilots would drive out to the Portland light house to see if the ship was on it's way in.
