I used to be a bright-eyed and bushytailed morning person, but working rotating shifts has thrown my sleep patterns WAAYYY out of whack. I never sleep more than 5 hours at a stretch, but I have been known to grab an afternoon nap. When my eyes pop open at 0400 I go into contemplation, write, or listen to music with headphones. Hey, Lyndi-loo, I see a lot of people with medical problems related to their sleep apnea. They come for a cardiac workup from heart arrhythmias, or chest pain, and they find out it's caused by their sleep apnea. Has your husband's sleep apnea been evaluated? Would he go? Some people hate the C-pap or Bi-pap machines they wear at night, but they usually help their symptoms because they relieve the morning headaches and the high blood pressure (all this stuff can result from sleep apnea!) It's worth a suggestion, I think. Anybody else have experience with this? Sharon
