Gee Whiz! Little Hawk isn't it the other way around? The Gas Station Logo is a ripoff of the Flag!

For Flags, I think a simple design is the best! The Red Ensign was pretty to be sure, but way too busy and way too much Union Jack! (No offence Brits but we are our own country now) Also the coats of arms only represented Four Provinces.

Our new flag is elegant, simple and sends the right message about what Canada is. It doesn't depict the English or the French or the Scotts or the Irish or the Italians or the Chinese. It represents all Canadians for what we are now!

I was a small boy when we started flying the Maple Leaf, I loved it then and I love it now. During the ten years I lived in Ottawa that flag gave me tears of pride during the Canada Day Celebrations!
