Every time I hear someone say they cant play this or that because their hands or fingers are too small, I think of an old time musician from upstate NY by the name of "Daddy Dick Richards". He had no left hand at all, yet, he played fiddle, guitar and bass. Of course he was limited, he played the guitar tuned to a major key, and, he was never a threat to Jasha Hiefitz on the fiddle, but, he was a respectible bass player. He had a tough projection on his left wrist which served as a finger.
In Florida, at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, I saw a man with no RIGHT arm at all playing some absolutly beautiful music on an electric guitar. He did everything with his left hand, using harmonics, hammering on and pulling off. Incredible.
