I have it from an unimpeachable cobbler (I think his name was Tie) that it is still a baseball term. You guys are confusing the past and gone form of the word (dey tru it) with the swearing term of a solemn oaf. Easy to do because they are nearly homonymnous but the latter is always destral while the former can be either dextral or sinistral. rich r
