That joke would be more believable if the two met at less than that velocity (you wouldn't get a single word understood as they passed each other in real life). Maybe modify it, the next time you tell it, that the jumper suddenly finds himself lifted up by the guy coming up, suddenly thrust together and the fall broken, and as they reach apogee, the conversation takes place. Makes more sense of the joke (i.e., improves it). Bob C.
