Ever thought of getting him his own union card? Hang on though is he classed as Military or Civilian? Could be a problem - All joking aside, I know of quite a few people, both military and civilian, who have, in the past taken pets to work, with no ill effect. I would suggest that the first avenue is 'what is the Official Policy on pets in the office? Also why the sudden 'sour grapes?' Are we talking about a new member of staff - or have they been denied the chance to bring their pet to work?
