Another from my mother.. She can even mishear birdsong. She swears blind that half the pigeons in her garden sing "Where's Heathcliffe?", while the other half respond with "GONE AWAY, poor Cathy". It just shows how the mind fills in the blanks and tries to interpret things. I hate to think what she does to real lyrics...(I daren't ask). The tragic thing is that she is really serious about it!
