I think Dylan is a good songwriter and a terrible singer. I always liked his songs sung by Joan Baez, or other people, but when he droned on in his own voice I wanted to cover my ears. He's written some great songs, but some are monotonous and preachy. And he can be awfully bitter. When I saw him on the Academy Awards show he was downright scary looking. Still, the song he sang was very powerful. Like most humans, he's a mixed bag.
