If you'r interested & In case you missed it...Last year Dylan sang with Ralph Stanley (the greatest singer still living in many peoples opinion), on a new CD by the Clinch Mountain Boys as well as 37 other singing greats in duet style with Ralph. 1998's top CD release may well hold that title for many years to come. Whatever motorcycle part hit Bob in the throat during his great wreck some years ago didn't seem to hurt his vocal style. I had played with "never sober" Bob back in 60-61 in the Village night spots before his vocal style was accepted and still use one of his old "harps" (mine) to tune my Martin to "Gee Flat". Bob lives nearby here but keeps a mighty low profile. He is far from dead tho and his music will certainly live forever...like it or not. I still remember the night he walked into Gerds Folk City with his first recording ...we were all agast. He's the champion of all who persue their dreams. He did it the hard way.
