Gee whiz this is all so fascinating. I had no idea about the Hawaiian stuff. Although I did make a connection between the bottleneck and the Hawaiin steel guitar. I think though of all the yodelers I have heard, Roy Rogers brings the biggest smile to my face and tears to my eyes because he reminds me of my childhood. I just know that yodeling is neat, I love to hear it and try as I might, I just flat cant do it. Sadly too, yodeling seems to be a dying art. Very few new young artists (Jewel seems to be the exception) yodel anymore. Just my $.02 worth johnne "goin where the weather suits my clothes"
