In a discussion of Dylan's contibutions, it seems appropriate to mention one of his least known masterpieces,"Talking World-Worn Flea Blues", a song that is both a moving allegory of man's struggle in an environment that,if not hostile, is at best indifferent to his existence ,as well as being without doubt the only Dylan song to utilize the mystifying images of a flea, an orange and a bicycle seat.
