Ok, I tried this last week but think it's worth another go. I have a flat back mandola (30" x 12" x 4". cases are rare or expensive. I need a hard case so that I can fall over with it and not damage its contents. Any original ideas?

It's tennis racket shaped but I cany find a hard tennis racket case. Could a kipper box or a fishing tackle box or something in B&Q be converted?
