Folks, I'm very close to getting me a Taylor 314ce and many of you have highly recommened them, but I was talking to a guy last night with a 900 series Taylor and said he had a lot of trouble with cracks developing in different areas of the guitar. Now, his was Rosewood back/sides and Engelman Spruce top, what I am looking at is Sapele "Mahogany" back/sides and Sitka Spruce top. Is Rosewood considerable more difficult to take care of then Mahogany? Also, I didn't get the feeling that he was particularly careful with monitoring humidity levels as he said it was a pain in the ass. Has anyone had similar problems with their Taylors? Thanks, Knappo
