Racing is a big hobby of mine. Thoroughbred horses are beautiful, graceful and courageous creatures. My favourite part of going to the races is watching them up close in the parade ring - and that is where you also get a lot of hints about what to back. Sure, the form is vital but so also is the condition of the horse on the day. DtG, by the time 13th Oct rolls around a lot of horses will have had enough for the season while others will still be fresh and ready. Spring and autumn are the times when it pays most to go have a good look at them.
