Bert Hansell that double posting problem!!Bill D (19) RE: that double posting problem!!Bill D 22 May 97

A lot of the software that I use needs a double click to do something. It becomes a habit and it is difficult to remember that the DT "Submit" button needs just ONE click.
Another thing that I have been doing a lot lately is hitting a return after filling in the "From:" field. This imediately transmits an empty message.
Computers sure do have a knack for making one feel like an idiot.

I remember one of my CS teachers telling us that if the computer didn't do what the user expected it to do then "The programmer did it wrong"
I guess if we keep complaining enough the network guys will improve their act a little. (Not the guys at DT, They are doing a great job)
Hey that didn't need to be hidden in parentheses it should be in upper case like this

"HEY FOLKS AT DT, YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB"
Bert
