I'm in the process of taking up mandolin and it never occurred to me that I might want to use a different pick than I do on guitar. Use a Dunlop .88 on the Martin, but maybe I'll try a harder one for the mandolin.

Thanks for the reminder Justa. I DO want to know what the current people think, but I'd be missing out if I didn't see what's gone before. Thanks also for the past help in guitar threads.
