I also like Dunlop tortex.88's, the green ones. I go with full sized for rhythm chord playing, and with their jazz picks (sharp pointed and about 2/3 the size) for stuff more intense alternate picking leads.) To prevent slippage, I'll put the sander attachment on my Dremel (hand-held rotary tool w/ about 50 attachments) and give it a quick few touches to either side of the pick. That roughs it up and keeps it from flying...
