Having utterly failed me with my request about "You can't go upstairs with our bar maids", I'll try again with a little more information. I quote from my mother: "He [my mother's friend] says the lines he remembers are 'You can't go upstairs with our bar maids, you take the elevator.' and 'You can't buy beer at our party, we give it away.' It's an audience participation thing with a "boo" on the first part and a "yeh" on the second part of each line." Anyone have more to this? I vaguely remember hearing this, but my source is probably from my childhood and the same as my mother's.
