I have never played a H & D guitar, but I am not suprised I have read an article in American Lutherie about the 2 or 3 man company. Stringed and fretted instruments are going through a revival of sorts right now and many small makers are turning out some of the best instruments ever made-- I think one of the owners if not both worked with Stelling.
