Some years ago, here in New Zealand, while I was playing my accordion on ANZAC day (NZ old soldiers' day), I was sung an extra verse of Lili Marlene by an old soldier. It is clean and was very well known by some of the old men. It is not on the database so I thought that I would drop it in here. Has anybody else come across it? It is as follows: When we are marching through the mud and cold And when my pack seems more than I can hold Your love for me renews my fight I'm warm again, my pack is light My Lili... Does this ring any bells? Cheers, Pukuhipi
