Well, UB Ed, I live in Blue Bell, which is just north of Norristown. I like to go to the Mermaid, which is on Germantown Pike/Ave in Northwest Phila. They have different sessions on different nights. I like the Open Circle on first and third Thursdays the best. They also have an Irish session every Wednesday, and different sessions, like bluegrass and country, on Tuesdays. Two Mondays a month they have an open mic night.

Are you in the area today? Tonight will be the annual Mudcat Night at the Iron Hill Brewery in West Chester at 9 pm. There will be various local and travelling Mudcatters there performing and it SHOULD be simulcast on Mudcat Radio. It would be great if you could make it!
