If you want to seriously consider this idea then you need to think about the following. You will have to reserve someplace by putting up some money and guaranteeing some amount. It's not clear to me that Mudcat can do that on its own. For that reason you may wish to more seriously consider the FSGW Getaway at Camp Ramblewood as the vehicle for this gathering. FSGW already fronts and guarantees the cash. They also provide insurance, a sound system, and lots of logistical support for the event. I don't think FSGW would mind at all.

Camp Ramblewood is with a couple of hours of Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia (only about an hour from West Chester, PA, the home of Mudcat) and 3 to 4 hours from New York. That gives people plenty of flight options with reasonable drives to the camp. The only real downside I can see to using the Getaway is that it is during the school year, and those of us that have kids might find it a little more difficult to deal with that. There is plenty of room for kids, and they have as good a time as the adults according to my son.
