And so i went on to explore another question i have had about your site. i.e. the discussions about new singer/songwriters being folk. I agree that many are navel gazers but i have been wondering about new "good" songs like for instance SEND ME TO GLORY IN A GLAD BAG by Don and Mim Carson and Steve Mason (folk from the Kansas City area) And it was in the data base. It appears that you all are more inclusive than first impressions led me to believe. So maybe "The Girlfriend of the Whirling Dervish" by the Hoosier Hot Shots isn't a folk song because almost nobody remembers it?
