Unfortunately I can't speak for the Folk Alliance, only for the local committee which consists of a dozen hard working local folkies trying to do the right thing for our city and those who do make the decision to come. And honestly, each of us (on the committee) will also need to make a choice about our personal actions if there are pickets during the conference. From my perspectice, that's really the heart of it. We all have to live with ourselves and the consequences of our own decisions. You'll have to make yours, and I fully understand if the decision is to stay away. What I will do, is ask the FA staff for specific feedback regarding the known intentions of the "high profile" long-term participants. *If* they give me any feedback, I'll report it here.
