Funny about perspectives. I suppose if I had gone to see Oh! Brother with the perception that it was a folk movie of the south, I'd have felt like Art. But I went from the perspective of an update of Homer's great works and was absolutly facinated by the movie. So much so, in fact, that I purchased the thing to watch often at home. And each time if find more and better comparisons to Homer's works. And that includes the way G. Clooney (supposedly) overacted. |
