The danger only comes when the difference between fantasy and reality is blurred. And that us what I meant - the stuff we've been talking about here from "Christian" fundamentalists in relation to Harry Potter does precisely that. As for the Narnia stuff - I think that will backfire, with kids handing round the real unexpurgated version, and reading it under the bedclothes.
